Following up on my recent re-introduction to Neil Diamond's Hot August Night
(not to be confused with Hot August Night II
, which I fear lacks the same appeal), Stereogum has posted a SNL clip of Neil and Christina Aguilera (actually Will Ferrell and Kate Hudson). As a major Neil fan, I'm almost offended by the cheap imitation. I also admit some respect for Christina Aguilera's voice, and even more now that she's revamped her image. Cruddy impression by the celebrity hostess. But all the same, it's fitting for me to repost.
