Bumbershoot 2007: The Shins, Wu-Tang, more!

As festivals pop up everywhere with silly names, especially in the Pacific Northwest, Bumbershoot continues the trend. Slated for September 1-3 at the Seattle Center in Seattle, WA, tickets arepriced at $75 for all three days (if you buy before 8/17).

The juicy info, of course, is the lineup: The Shins, the Wu-Tang Clan, Panic! At The Disco, Crowded House, Lupe Fiasco, Gogol Bordello, Kill Hannah, Norma Jean, Plain White T's, The Gourds, Lyrics Born, Holmes Brothers, Steve Earle, Devotchka, Devendra Banhart, Roky Erickson, Allison Moorer and Magnolia Electric Company, with many more TBA.

Rock The Bells: Rage Against The Machine, Wu-Tang, Nas, Public Enemy, and more

The Rock The Bells tour, which describes itself as "a world-class hip hop platform", is set to be a huge event. With three shows (July 28 at Randall's Island in New York, Aug. 11 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, Calif., and Aug. 18 at the McCovey Cove Parking Lot in San Francisco) to feature Rage Against The Machine, and Wu-Tang Clan and Nas to headline the whole tour, this is a must-see for hip hop fans.

Cypress Hill, the Roots, Public Enemy, Sage Francis, Mos Def, APMD, Jedi Mind Tricks and Immortal Technique will also play the whole tour, while MF Doom, FELT, Hieroglyphics, Living Legends, Blackalicious, the Coup, Murs, Brother Ali, Cage, Mr. Lif, Grouch & Eligh, Hangar 18, Bluepring and Lucky I AM will perform at select shows. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, March 31.

Rage Against The Machine continues touring after Coachella. . .with The Wu-Tang Clan

Rage Against The Machine's show at Coachella won't be a one-off performance, after all. They will join the Wu-Tang Clan for three shows, according to the LA Times: New York on July 28, a Southern California area show Aug. 11 and a San Francisco show Aug. 18.

Wu-Tang Clan 8 Diagrams To Drop This Summer

After 6 years, during which each member has released a solo album, the Wu-Tang Clan has signed with a new label, SRC Records, and will be releasing a new album, 8 Diagrams, scheduled to drop this summer. According to The RZA, "How could hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?" Eat that, Nas.
