On February 5, 2007, with help from Target and The Fannie Mae Foundation, The Kennedy Center will present an evening of free performances including the US Navy Jazz Ensemble, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the National Symphony Orchestra, and Sufjan Stevens as the headliner. Sufjan will be accompanied by the Kennedy Center House Orchestra.
Tickets are free, but limited to one of the above performances. Those who have a ticket to one performance will be able to view the others in simulcast from inside the Kennedy Center. Information about how to get tickets will be forthcoming.
