(Almost) best news ever:
PJ Harvey will release her seventh studio album, White Chalk, on September 24 (that's for the rest of the world. . .a US date is pending, but if standard practice dictates, we should see it on the following day, September 25). Flood produces along with John Parish, and her long-time studio collaborators Eric Drew Feldman and Jim White will assist.
According to PJ's MySpace, the new album was written primarily on piano as opposed to guitar.
PJ Harvey was featured in Any Given Tuesday's Top 10 Music Icons.
This would be the best news ever if we had a confirmed US release date.
