News has developed over the last few days that the Smashing Pumpkins were reuniting in one form or another. Today, Pitchfork confirms that news via the Pumpkins' MySpace blog. As yet, it appears only Jimmy Chamberlin and Billy Corgan are confirmed to be part of the reunion. It has yet to be seen if the rest of the band will return (James Iha, are you too busy with A Perfect Circle? D'Arcy Wretzky on bass, or Melissa Auf der Maer?) If you want the latest, keep your eyes glued on the MySpace blog.
