Explaining how upset he is about Green Day's DVD "Bullet In A Bible", Brandon Flowers of The Killers considers Green Day's performance of "American Idiot" in England "a very negative thing toward Americans." And then he starts talking about Bruce Springsteen, who he hasn't shut up about since The Killers' new album, "Sam's Town", hit the media stream. "American Idiot" was a huge hit for Green Day. Fans anywhere want to hear that when they go to a Green Day show. Just because the fans singing along happen to be English doesn't make the song suddenly more negative. Don't hate just because your album is getting destroyed by the critics. You're still selling records, ego-boy.
And the night after appearing on stage with Sheryl Crow in his now-famous bear suit, John Mayer was surprised by Sheryl in a bikini. Hmm. That's subtle.
